Caltec since 1996
Independent calibration and instrumentation support from a Cambridge base, serving organisations across the United Kingdom.
Our work
Caltec's journey began in 1996 with the aim of providing a practical, one-stop instrumentation service. Today, we support customers with calibration, temperature monitoring and mapping, process instrumentation, control systems, instrument supply and repair.
The value is not simply in supplying a certificate or instrument. It is in understanding the application, selecting the appropriate technical route and providing documentation that stands up to everyday operational use.
How Caltec works
A direct conversation with an experienced team keeps the scope, evidence and next steps understandable.
We first establish what needs to be measured, controlled or demonstrated before recommending equipment or scope.
Accredited and traceable work are described separately, with the certification route agreed before work begins.
Reports, certificates and supporting records are prepared so customers can understand and use them in practice.
Connected capability
Explore the service that most closely matches the requirement. If the route is unclear, start with the application and we will help define it.
Accreditation boundary
Caltec is UKAS-accredited for temperature activities within laboratory 8980's current published schedule. Other calibration disciplines are provided with traceability and are not described as UKAS-accredited.
